Notes | After gaining more experience and skills, I returned to sink at the Railroad spot and finally figured this spot out. The entry is the most difficult part here, as the drop is really 2 feet underwater and somewhat far away from the eddy. There is close to no cue on the surface so you really need to know where the entrance is from experience and hit it with a steep, aggressive, and precise charc. To make things worse, there are transient waves and whirlpools that obstruct your path, hence good timing makes everything easy (but not essential!). I can now get pretty consistent ~10-second rides. It\s difficult to break 20 seconds as ~18 seconds will take you to the end of the seam and there is little stall opportunity underwater. |

Notes | 50deg. & sunny. A good level. Most of the Salmon fishermen were gone. Got a few big rides. As Jim & Jason explained, its a combination of good timing and dumb luck here. The entrance is hit or miss. If it were more consistent, itd be epic. The waterfall drop off the slab is only sporadically attainable from the surface. The initial drop is turbulent and difficult to navigate w/ a stick. But once in, its calm and deep with a mild double suck about 2 rotations in. Quite pleasant and sometimes long. |

Notes | air 40deg./ H2o Brrrr. Def. too high. The entrance is still there, and sometimes gaping. Too much down stream flow, not enough support off the eddy. But you can DROP...hard. More like a quick mystery thrashing. Kinda fun, kinda scary. |

Notes | Lucky enough to hook up with Kirkman and Jim A. to introduce me to the Railroad. Good thing too, probably wouldn't have gained entrance w/ out them. The surgy seam opens and closes making timing everything here. But when you hit the drop off the slab you know it! I couldn't really keep it going more than a couple seconds, kinda tricky and fluttery in my big boat. Those guys have it dialed though getting deep long rides regularly. Even so the finicky entrance makes consistency tough. |

Notes | Nice spot to play at all day, unless you name is Harry M. He cant seam to gain entry here. Must be all the estrogen running in his veins. |
