Notes | Finding the bottom end. 5 seconds was a good ride this session. I still cant believe there\s enough juice for the spot to work this low! At one hour away from home though, I will take it. Got a really good look at the bottom by swimming the seam a few times. The rubble bars are a lot closer to the seam than you would think! Stay centered on the seam at all levels, and you will be less likely to tap the bottom. Nothing undercut down there, but I did spy a microwave size block that I tap frequently if I drop in too far to river left. The bedrock rises as the seam plays out 40-50 feet downstream, so if you tap late go ahead and head back for the eddy. John Tiedeman came out for a rip and knocked the cobwebs off. First time back in the squirt for him since Bubbler a couple years ago... new baby... He started off with a life jacket, then he lost it, then he finished with a 15 pound ballast rock. He got his dips in and was pretty fired up to come back with more water in the river. Haven\t had any issues so far with locals giving us a hard time over access, but still keeping as low a profile as can be kept with a golden glitter sled on the roof. Give this spot a go if you\re passing through, it\s only 10 minutes from I-81. |

Notes | Pretty similar to 750, how low will it go? None of the other Maury River spots work this low, but there are still 10 second rides to be had every time here! Sublime kinesthetics underwater. |

Notes | Starting to dial in the spot. Sinking early on the close side slab, spinning right is the best bet for a minimal travel ride. And hand paddles of course... Getting 10 seconds but only moving downstream 10 feet. Lefty charcs tend to send you roaming downstream. Still plenty of juice, flow structure is just perfect. Hand paddles aren\t a liability anymore to regain the eddy after a ride. Ideal level. |

Notes | Returned with Jesse Taylor. Eddy was a little more manageable. Nice predictable rides, 10 seconds every time unless there was pilot error. Lots of charcs work... stab the far slab lefty. sink early lefty. sink early righty. chop in right at the seam. Best bet though is to not have too much momentum towards the far wall. Want to stay centered on the seam. Jesse got his first real mystery here. Not just any quick head dunk either, 3 seconds and 3 spins down. Great level! |

Notes | Seam is powered up. You\re going down. And downstream roaming. Don\t stay under too long, you need to make a dash back to the eddy. Then work to get back to the top to reset. This level maybe better to go upstream to Indian Pool. Bring a squirt boat with a soft hull if you have a choice of quiver, and a styk. |
