Notes | This is the best level for this section of river. Its only mediocre, but this is as good as it gets. You can wet your eyeballs at the tripod, the convergence, or the dunking rock at this level. 1-3 second rides helmet deep. |

Falmouth | dmayer | 06-06-2009 12:00 AM | 4.7ft | 2
Notes | No good at this level. The convergence just isnt strong. The tripod is underwater. The dunking rock is best at this level - it will allow you to spin with your eyeballs just under water for 2-3 seconds and travel 10 yards down the eddyline. |

Falmouth | dmayer | 06-04-2009 12:00 AM | 4.87ft | 2
Notes | The convergence seam was there, but confused by flow coming from upstream. Able to sink to my eyeballs for 2-3 seconds. 4.7 might be the magic number. Or this spot might not be very good. |

Falmouth | dmayer | 06-02-2009 12:00 AM | 5.15ft | 1
Notes | Not much of interest at this level. No good seams, and no real surf opportunities either. The creek lines through the islands are the best thing going. |

Falmouth | dmayer | 05-31-2009 12:00 AM | 5.8ft | 1
Notes | Paddled down through the middle. Fun ride through waves and swells. Found a good blasting hole below the rapids. |

Falmouth | dmayer | 05-30-2009 12:00 AM | 6.07ft | 5
Notes | At this level, the river covers up most of the features that channel the flow around and form the convergence seams. The middle of the river, though, is full of fun exploding waves and swells. Also fun mushes in the seams where the big slabs of current hit the slackwater at the bottom. |

Falmouth | dmayer | 05-28-2009 12:00 AM | 4.4ft | 1
Notes | As I suspected, it was too low for the two spots I found before. I found another eddy line with a great drop to it, but there is a pinning rock 10 feet downstream. |

Falmouth | dmayer | 05-25-2009 12:00 AM | 4.5ft | 2
Notes | Found a new spot. Its a convergence of 3 currents that gives up a fun, safe, stable 4 second ride with your head about 1 foot under the surface. No travel, just drop and spin in place. The convergence seam I explored on my last trip is less defined at this level. I had no luck with the conventional charc, but got a decent dunk by hitting the seam from the main flow - mush move style. I cant wait to see this seam with more water. |

Notes | I explored the convergence seam and was able to get a 3-4 second ride with my head about 6 inches under. Im hoping there will be more power at another level - most likely higher will be better. Very small changes in the gage seem to have major impact in this section of the river. |
